Starmer: We will do everything in our power to destroy Putin's shadow fleet

The British government has announced that tankers have taken Russian oil from the beginning of 2024 worth over 18 billion pounds [89 mld 965 mln 440 tys. zł]breaking the restrictions imposed on Moscow after she invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Before meeting the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) in Oslo Starmer, said that this move would increase pressure on Moscow.
“The threat that Russia is for our national security cannot be underestimated,” said Starmer on Friday. – that's why we will do everything in our power to destroy his operation [prezydenta Rosji Władimira Putina] Shadow fleets, deprive his war machine of oil income and protect the submarine infrastructure, on which our daily life depends – he added.
The package of funds will also be aimed at ships and boats accused of damaging the key undersea infrastructure.
