The fugitive oligarch from the Republic of Moldova, Ilan Șor, published on May 8 some photos from the Red Square in Moscow, where he participated in the deposit of flowers at the grave of the unknown soldier, a monument dedicated to the victory in World War II. The images also appears the deputy Marina Tauber, which the Moldovan prosecutors have been seeking since the beginning of the year.
The “Victory” block again brought to Chisinau a part of the eternal flame from the tomb of the unknown soldier in Moscow. This sacred flame unites our peoples and reminds of the Great Harb generation of the winners. A part of the eternal flame will be offered to our veterans.

Subsequently, photos appeared on the same Telegram channel since the return to Chisinau to the delegation that was in Moscow, but Marina Tauber no longer appears in them.
Tauber went to Turkey then disappeared

His lawyer said he did not know where his client is, and all the proceedings continue in her absence. The information was confirmed by the management of the Chisinau Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office.
The prosecutors accuse the deputy of the falsification of the reports regarding the financing of the election campaign, the illegal financing of a political party and connections with an organized criminal group. Tauber advocates innocent.
A year ago, on April 21, 2024, the fugitive oligarch Ilan Şor, who hides the justice from the Republic of Moldova in Russia and Israel, in Moscow, announced the creation of the so-called “Victoria” political block. Şor said that the formation will participate in the presidential elections and in the referendum this autumn this year regarding the membership of Moldova at the EU.
The event was organized in Moscow, in the presence of several close friends, such as the deputy Marina Tauber and the Gagauziei, Evghenia Guţul.
Ilan Șor fled from the Republic of Moldova in June 2019, after the Democratic Party of Moldova, then led by another oligarch, Vlad Plahotniuc, lost his power in Chisinau. Initially, Șor left for Israel, but later, at the beginning of 2024, he left for the Russian Federation, where he is currently. He is accused by the Chisinau authorities including interference in the presidential elections and the constitutional referendum on the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU, which took place in autumn 2024.
