Karol Nawrocki undertook to take care of Jerzy Ż. – Interia portal said on Friday. As reported, Nawrocki in writing assured that he would put on the maintenance of Mr. Jerzy, and after his death he would take care of the funeral.
“The document reached by Interia sheds new light on the matter of Karol Nawrocki's relationship with Jerzy Ż. A politician who is applying for the highest office in the state has committed in writing to a lifetime care for an elderly man. The letter from which Interia reached comes from August 10, 2021.
“The undersigned Karol Nawrocki declare that I committed myself to maintaining Jerzy Ż. By providing him with meals, clothes, a flat located in Gdańsk at ul. (…), light and fuel, ensuring adequate help and nursing in illness, and at the expense of the funeral corresponding to the funeral that corresponds to local customs,” he quotes the first part of the letter.

As Interia indicates, there are two handwritten signatures under the document – Karol Nawrocki and Jerzy Ż.
The portal reminds that on July 23, 2021, Nawrocki took the oath before the Sejm, including the function of the president of the Institute of National Remembrance – several days before signing the document published by Interia. “Thus, during the summer of 2021, he moved from Gdańsk to Warsaw. In connection with the start of a new job, it became clear that Nawrocki would visit Gdańsk less often. Therefore, taking care of Mr. Jerzy, which the historian committed in writing, became problematic” – Interia noted.
