Former player and coach of the Dinamo team, Ioan Andone, says that at the break of FCSB-Dinamo derby, when the score was 3-0, he wanted to go home, saying that a band is not allowed to take so many goals in 15 minutes.
“At the break I could go home, honestly. It was 3-0 and he was without the right to call. But in the second half Dinamo showed that in the future, with a few players, he can also propose European cups. Because he had opportunities and he was missing a little chance, because he could end 3-3. Take the FCSB from merits.
“In my opinion, the championship is completed. Even if there are more mathematical chances, they will only remain mathematical. FCSB if it manages to win the champion, and so it seems, I say that 3-4 years will be in the first place,” the former coach added. He participated in the opening event of the Superbet Chess Classic Romania, the second stage of the Grand Chess Tour 2025 circuit that takes place at the Grand Hotel in the Capital on May 7-16.
Ioan Andone claims that the progress of the Dinamo team is visible compared to last season, but stressed that it is important for the club to get out of insolvency.
“The progress of Dinamo is great compared to last year. Now they qualified in the play-off, and last year they were at the relegation dam. However, a year in insolvency would mean a managerial failure. They have to solve these problems because the debts are not so big,” said Andone.
FCSB took a new step towards the title in the football superliga, after defeating Dinamo Bucharest with a score of 3-1 (3-0), on Monday night, on the National Arena in the Capital, in a match in the 7th play-off.
FCSB has reached 21 consecutive matches without defeat in the championship, 14 wins, 7 draws.
Dinamo has a victory and five failures in the play-off.
In the direct matches this season, FCSB has imposed on the line, 2-0 and 2-1 in the regular season, 2-1 and 3-1 in the play-off.
