The leader and candidate for qualified gold in the second round of the presidential elections, George Simion, launched a series of accusations on Wednesday about the NGOs in the civil society that criticizes him, saying that they are “of type Soroș” and that they will have to “give account” because “they rose the things that do not exist”. In reply, the Funky Citizens organization, explicitly nominated by Simion, denounced a “super democratic behavior” by the candidate to the supreme function in the state.

“This is what George Soros did in the UK speculating against the pound in the early 1990s. These bold robbers who have been playing the population in free countries will have to pay,” said George Simion, in a show at Realitatea Plus.

“There are several Soroș type NGOs, which have collected databases, such as Funky Citizens, they will seek to raise things that do not exist. I have not mistaken anything in front of the law,” the golden leader continued.

“All this agent who can no longer have to take account. Is it only France, is it just the foundation for an open society? (Open Foundations, no),” he said.

In fact, Simion criticized the interim prime minister Cătălin Predoiu, the interim leader of the PNL, and also claimed that France wants “very much to gain the total, absolute power in the Romanian state”.

“They rely on the fact that people will sleep on one ear, will not go to vote. Try to join us for free of certain political figures, which have not been in a state, neither in November, nor now, to win the population's confidence. It is the state that wants very much to gain the total, absolute power in the Romanian state ”, said the golden candidate.

A quick reply after Simoin's statements came from Elena Calistru, the founder of the NGO Funky Citizen.

“The truth is that it really convinces me that there is no extremism in attacking, from the position of candidate for the presidency, organizations like mine. Super democratic behavior, I have nothing to say,” she wrote, in a message published on her Facebook page.

“Otherwise, it remains as we have established – if a handful of people with the name of weirdness gets to annoy people up, it does something good.” She added.
