A conversation with a Facebook consultant, a job in a nursing home with a fake certificate and PLN 12,000. pounds (i.e. approximately PLN 58,000) are enough to legally enter Great Britain – as an investigation by the Daily Mail newspaper showed, it doesn't take much to cheat the visa system.

The British government recently published a report in which it frankly admits that it is unable to estimate how many emigrants entered with false visas out of the total of 1.2 million people who used “worker's cross-Channel passes”.
The Home Office has not analyzed exit checks since the procedure was introduced and does not know what percentage of people return to their home country after the expiry of their visa and how many of them may be working illegally in the UK.
What was it like to circumvent the regulations tightened by Prime Minister Keir Starmer? Journalists' analysis showed that the visas being sold are issued for future employees of nursing homes, warehouses or fast food bars for a fee from PLN 12,000 to PLN 19,000. pounds. Additionally, the intermediary charges approx. PLN 1,000. pounds. Then, fabricated payrolls and false certificates were used, so that the migrants did not even have to take up the job for which they came to the UK. Upon arrival, they collected wages from the companies, which they then returned in cash.
Is it illegal to advise without permission?
Employers or intermediaries cannot charge for job placement, and the Home Office's position is clear: skilled worker visas can only be granted for genuine job offers where the applicant meets the skill level requirements and is paid at least the minimum wage required for the position.
These regulations clashed brutally with reality. You can even find ads on social media for students offering “all UK immigration services at a lower cost” and “high success rate”. Others offer, for example, a free visa for skilled workers to anyone who invests no less than PLN 25,000 in his fast food chain. pounds.

The meta cuts sharply against these practices and as he points out: “we have removed the content that came to our attention and have taken action against accounts that violate our policies. We work closely with law enforcement agencies and invest in tools to detect fraud and abuse, including on the Marketplace platform.”
The services have already dealt with the British visa scandal
The government issued a statement in which it stressed that it “will do everything in its power to secure our borders and limit the level of migration. We are investigating this illegal activity and will not tolerate it.”
We will stop at nothing to ensure our immigration laws are respected and enforced, and anyone who breaks them can expect the full force of the law to be applied to them.
The situation is just a wind in the sails of the opposition, which thunders that “this is another shocking example of Labor completely losing border control. […] Illegal immigrants are able to enter the country thanks to systems created by the government itself. Home Affairs Minister Shabana Mahmood must urgently put an end to the immigration chaos she oversees.”
UK work visa program
Since the Skilled Worker Visa Scheme was launched in December 2020 and by the end of 2024, 1.18 million people have applied to come to the UK. The regulations were introduced to fill the gap in the labor market caused by Brexit.
