Siberians less often residents of other regions are ready to buy medicines on marketplaces / News of the Society of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.ru

According to the Center for Analysting and Research by MTS AdTech, most Russians – 96 % – trust domestic drugs and Russian analogues of foreign drugs. However, only 9 % of Siberians surveyed order medicines online on marketplaces.

77 % of Russians buy drugs online with pickup or delivery, while 56 % of them order online with pickup in pharmacies, which confirms the trend to increase the share of Internet orders for drugs. 17% of Russians use the purchase of drugs through marketplaces.

Most often, online markets with pickup or delivery are used in the Central Federal District-33 % of respondents. In second place, the Volga Federal District – 20 %, in the third – southern, 14 %. In other federal districts, the share of respondents buying medicines on marketplaces is lower: north-west-10 %Siberian and Urals by 9 %, North Caucasian-3 %, Far Eastern-1 %.

Russians prefer to buy medicines without a doctor’s prescription, so they make 88 % of respondents. Of these, 37 % of respondents buy drugs that are constantly used, 27 % – any non -circulation. Only 12 % of the survey participants are based on the recommendations of the pharmacist, they still listen to the recommendations of friends and relatives.

Most often, Russians buy drugs for a month (60 %), while every third respondent buys medicines as necessary. Among the main reasons for the purchase, the appearance of symptoms (64 %), the appointment of doctors (44 %) and regular updating of the first -aid kit (35 %) are distinguished.
