2 funds, and the tile in the bathroom shines: the plaque gets off itself in 30 minutes – not a drop of chlorine

Over time, even the highest quality grout between the tiles loses its original color. The yellowness and gray plaque appear unnoticed, turning the perfectly clean seam into a problem area. It turns out that it is possible to return the whiteness to him and all the tiles as a whole without expensive means – with the help of ordinary hydrogen peroxide.

Active oxygen in hydrogen peroxide acts as a soft bleach. It penetrates the structure of the grout, destroying particles of dirt and organic pollution, without damaging the material itself.

How to prepare a solution

Mix hydrogen peroxide 3% with baking soda to a thick paste state. Proportions – approximately 2 parts of peroxide per part of the soda. The mixture should be dense enough so as not to spread along the tile.

The method of application

Apply paste to the seams using an old toothbrush or narrow brush. Leave for 15-20 minutes, then gently rub with a brush and rinse with warm water. For persistent pollution, you can repeat the procedure.

Precautions

Peroxide can lighten the colored grout, so before processing it is worth checking the action of the composition on an inconspicuous area. It is better to work in gloves to avoid skin irritation.

This simple method is suitable for regular cleaning. The grout will become snow -white again, and the tile will look like new. The main thing is to prevent strong pollution and clean in a timely manner.
