Dramatic scenes in the mountains. Lightning struck tourists

A dangerous event occurred on Saturday, May 3 between the towns of Tisa and Rájec in the Czech Republic, 60 km from the Polish border. Lightning hit the two tourists who hid under the tree from the storm.

Travelers from Germany were lucky because a few minutes later they found another group of tourists who immediately called for help. Mountain rescuers provided the victims' first care.

“After preliminary research, we found burns around the chest of both tourists. On the basis of burned holes in clothes, we determined that the reason was lightning strikes. One of the tourists, the man, complained, among others, on severe facial pain and vision disorders in one eye” – said Czech rescuers.

Then the injured tourists were transported to the hospital.
