Syniehubow reported that a 47-year-old man in Kupiańsk was killed as a result of shelling. “Russian troops used various types of weapons, in particular 11 kabs (air bombs), three FPV drones, 21 Shaad drones and 28 gerań-type drones”-wrote the chairman of the Kharkiv region administration on the telegram.
The Russians damaged civil infrastructure, private houses, outbuildings, shop, residential building, kindergarten, 17 cars, educational institutions and garages.
In total, 48 people were injured. On the night of Friday to Saturday, Synihubow reported that “in various parts of Kharkov a series of explosion took place.”
Wołodymyr Zelanski appeals to the West for help
The President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski stated in response to an attack on Kharkiv that Russia struck residential areas, not military goals. “Currently, Russia is once again attacking Ukraine. Kharkiv has been attacked by dozens of Shaheds. (…) Russia strikes residential districts when Ukrainians are at home when they put their children to sleep” – noted Zelanski.
The head of the state emphasized that when the world delayed decisions, almost every night in Ukraine turns into a nightmare, which costs human life.
“Ukraine needs to strengthen air defense. We need firm and real decisions of our partners: the United States, Europe, all our partners who want peace. Only strength and sanctions can force Russia to stop,” said Zelanski.
