Police from Achinsk during a business trip to Nizhny Novgorod detained an Internet mester.
Last fall, a local resident turned to the duty part of the police in Achinsk. She said that on the Internet she found an announcement on the sale of exclusive knives. Achinka contacted the seller and agreed on the transaction, after which she transferred payment for the goods in the amount of 29 thousand rubles. However, instead of ordered knives in the parcel, she received glossy old magazines.
Police found that an previously inconsistent 32-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod was involved in the commission of a crime. To conduct the necessary investigative and operational actions, law enforcement officers went there on a business trip.

The man admitted to the deed, explaining that he sent the victim of the fraud to the parcel with magazines specifically so that she would not initially suspect the fraud and would not turn to the police. It also turned out that similarly the offender deceived the inhabitants of Krasnoyarsk, Kerch and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
A criminal case has been instituted against the suspected investigative department of Achinsky under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud”. The maximum punishment is imprisonment up to 5 years.
The police recall that online buyers can become a victim of scammers, especially on unverified sites. Remember that you can not transfer money for the unknown goods to dubious accounts.
