A strong fire broke out on May 2 in the village of Drokino, Emelyanovsky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory – buildings and grass there caught fire.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message at 14:50.
With the help of 6 firefighters and two units of equipment, at 15:31 the fire was localized: 5 panel houses (225 sq. m.) + 10 hectares of grass.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that on May 1, out of 35 fires extinguished, 30 were fires of dry grass and garbage. Firefighters responded to various incidents almost 300 times per day, and dispatchers had difficulty coping with calls. Today the situation has repeated itself: massive fires are being recorded in various areas in the city and region.
“Grass and garbage are burning almost everywhere. The population did not heed the warnings about compliance with fire safety requirements in dry and hot weather, as well as in the slightest wind,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations complained.
