VIDEO. Alexandru Bourceanu: “I was in a vicious circle. I had constant pain, we took pills”
“The 2014-2015 season was, for me, the worst season from all points of view. I came after the injury, I had constant pain and I played a little. I was in a vicious circle: I was spending a lot (no – refers to alcohol consumption)we take pain pills, everything as a defense mechanism. I was down enough then, ”Bourceanu recalls.
“I had a complicated relationship with Costel Gâlcă”he says. “But I think things were solved from the end of that season.
I think of everything I did wrong in that season as a footballer: how I behaved, how I should have behaved, and, in particular, how I would manage, as a coach, a player as I was then, ”continues Bourceanu.
It admits that “it would be difficult for me, as a coach, to work with a footballer as I was in 2014-2015. Whatever I would tell me, I do not know if I could manage such a situation. I was in a black place then. Neither to Laurentiu Reghecampf was not easy to deal with me”.
Alexandru Bourceanu: “The return to Romania was a blow”
“Over the years I have gathered some emotions. They have gathered, and I learned to handle them. But all these things were in my luggage. The thing that kept me alive was that I was performing as a footballer, only I got to the point where I didn't.
I stayed 2-3 months injured. And I saw colleagues beside which, 6 months ago, I was passing the rocket. Now it was exactly the opposite, and that stress me.
All this creates a tension that makes you react emotionally: you scream, you rebel, ”says Alex.
The bad pass was affected and physically: “I left alcohol because I took a lot of pain pills. Besides, I was fat. Fatty! I had 78 pounds, now I have 72”.
“The return to Romania was a blow to me, because I was living with the feeling that I was not abroad, a sensation that perpetuated. I was a holder in Trabzon, a good and loved team in Turkey. For the moment, I had succeeded, only that accident that took me out of the game,” adds Bourceanu.
In 6 months, I arrived from the position of captain in Trabzonspor in the reserve position at FCSB. It's a hard thing!

“Gigi Becali did not let me go”
Alex Bourceanu also told that the FCSB's owner did not agree to return to Trabzonspor since the winter of 2015:
“In the middle of the 2014-2015 season, the discussion had come to return to Trabzonspor but Gigi Becali did not leave me. I stayed at FCSB. I wasn't happy, but I stayed until the end of the season.
Later, in the summer of 2015, I left, in the end, to Trabzon. It's just that I got injured quickly after the return. I stayed in Turkey for a few months, after which I returned to FCSB, with Reghecampf coach. If in the first season I had the support of Gigi, in the second I had no. In short, I stayed longer on the bench. “
The end of the next season at FCSB was very good, although I still did not have the support of Gigi Becali. I was interested in point that I was holder in the Europa League because I wanted to leave

“I did therapy. Leaving for Russia helped me to get rid of the roller in Romania”
Asked how he managed to overcome the complicated moment, Alexandru Bourceanu said he helped him a lot to leave for Russia, at Arsenal Tula:
“First of all, I escaped all the buzz and all the expectations around me in Romania. I went to Russia where I was very quiet.
When I last injured, in Russia, I started therapy. I did a few sessions. Afterwards, I arrived in Calarasi, where I did not have a great season, but I came after the 8-9-month injury in Russia.
And there it was complicated: I had to extend my contract with the team and receive a higher salary, but fixed in the last match I suffered the peroneum fracture. What if the therapy helped me? If you knew me at 29 and compared me to the man who are today, yes, it is clear that he helped me”.
