One of the reasons for the detention of commentator Ramazan Rabadanov is his connection with the extremist channel “Morning of Dagestan”. Last year he was going to give an interview there.
According to our information, correspondence with the channel administrators was found in Rabadanov’s phone, where the meeting was discussed. Both sides virtually shook hands, but then Ramazan's friends dissuaded him. The interview never took place. The commentator's home has already been searched and nothing prohibited was found there. Now Rabadanov is in a detention center, there will be a trial tomorrow.
The Morning of Dagestan channel has been involved in major scandals several times. It was there that they published a video in which Nikita Zhuravel burned the Koran. And in October 2023, administrators called for finding and punishing Jews hiding in Makhachkala.
