In Russia, in the coming years, the number of extreme weather phenomena will increase, including squalls, powerful rains and tornadoes. This was stated by the Novosibirsk Climatologist Alexey Nepomnya conversation with Sib.Fm, writes OM1 Novosibirsk.
According to the expert, now short -term, but powerful showers are becoming more often, while prolonged rains are less often.
“The intensity and frequency of dangerous convective phenomena, such as squalls, large hail and tornadoes, increases. Some of them are comparable with the American tornado, and they cannot be underestimated by their danger. – the expert warned.
