Until massive current in Spain and Portugal, the authorities are investigating a large cyber attack

Thousands of Spaniards reported on Monday that they were left without electricity for different time, the Madrid government announcing that they are investigating electricity interruptions with various technical teams from several ministries, reports El Pais, a similar situation being registered in the neighboring Portugal.
Currently, the official government sources have no explanation for what has happened.
Spaniards from all areas of the country reported an interruption of the current that generally lasted a few minutes, shortly after lunch. The main Spanish electricity companies, consulted by El Pais, the largest newspaper in Spain, did not offer yet a reason to explain the interruptions.
The National Institute of Cyber Security (INCIBE) has announced that it is investigating interruptions to see if they were caused by a cyber attack. Institute officials have not yet announced any conclusions.
The Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias reports that a large wedge also affects Portugal and that the causes are unknown.
According to the Portuguese press, the malfunction affects all public services and that the situation has led to the interruption of train traffic. Telecommunications are also affected.
The group that connects all energy providers in Portugal has already reported the situation of the National Cyber Security Center.
A source of this organization told Diario de Noticias that the case is still unknown and that an evaluation is done, sending additional information about the incident to the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection.
