The ministry of climate and environment sees space for larger reductions in electricity prices in household tariffs – the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage said in a communication.
The ministry has prepared provisions providing for postponing the starting date in the changed electricity price tariffs of July 1, 2025 to October 1, 2025.
The deadline for the submission of tariff applications by energy companies – from April 30, 2025 to July 31, 2025.
“For many months, however, we have been observing a downward trend on the electricity market, and the current conditions for shaping prices on wholesale markets indicate a greater reduction in prices in household tariffs. Therefore, the Ministry of Climate and Environment proposes to postpone the deadline for submitting applications by three months” – says MKIŚ. (PAP Biznes)
