Dinamo Prepares Unique Ticket Auction for FCSB Derby

The ongoing discussions around the venue for the upcoming Dinamo versus FCSB derby, scheduled for early September, have concluded. The match will now take place at the Arcul de Triumf Stadium, which can accommodate approximately 7,500 spectators.

Initially, there were plans to hold the derby at Cluj Arena, as announced by Andrei Nicolescu. However, following fan feedback, the decision was reversed, with the match returning to Bucharest.

It is important to note that Nicolescu was absent from the fan meeting on Tuesday. Representing Dinamo were Dan Gătăianțu, the Chairman of the Board and Financial Director, along with Costin Stolz, one of the Renovatio executives.

In preparation for the derby against FCSB, Dinamo is also implementing a novel ticket sales system.

Unique Dutch Auction for Dinamo – FCSB Tickets

According to dinamo1948.club, Dinamo has established several measures regarding access to the match. Season tickets will be made available once again at an Early Bird price, allowing fans to purchase passes at promotional rates similar to the campaign’s start.

Tickets for Tribuna I and Tribuna a II-a will be sold using a Dutch auction format. This means the initial price will be set higher and will decrease gradually until someone accepts the displayed amount.

For instance, if a ticket starts at 100 euros and remains unsold, the price may drop to 95, 90, or even 85 euros.

Essentially, fans who buy tickets early will pay a higher price but have access to more seating options, while those who wait might find better prices but risk missing out on tickets entirely.

Special Jersey Planned for the Derby

Another initiative, resulting from the discussions, includes the launch of a special jersey dedicated to the derby against FCSB. This exclusive gear is set to commemorate one of the season’s most significant matches.

The Arcul de Triumf Stadium, located near the Cașin Monastery, has a capacity of about 7,500 seats. The last derby held at this venue ended with FCSB claiming a 2-1 victory after extra time in the Conference League playoff.
