Further changes in the Polsat empire. Zygmunt Solorz lost control over the company

Thanks to this transaction, she gained full control over the company – she currently owns 100%. its shares. According to “Presserwis”, the shares were taken over from Jerzy Modrzejewski (a lawyer cooperating with Zygmunt Solorz), Emil Jędrzejewski (former president of Polsat Boxing Promotion), Marian Kmita (director of sports at Telewizja Polsat and vice-president of Polsat Boxing Promotion), as well as Przemysław Krok (former vice-president of Polsat Boxing Promotion). The company's share capital was also increased from PLN 40,000. PLN to 127.8 thousand zloty.

Polsat Group is preparing a new strategy
Polsat Boxing Group is a promotional group founded in 2021, which until recently was responsible for organizing professional boxing galas and developing the careers of Polish boxers. According to “Presserwis”, Polsat Boxing Promotion galas are not currently organized. The company will decide whether to continue the project only after determining the strategy of the entire group, which is still undergoing transformations and simplifications of its structure. The takeover of Polsat Boxing Group was supposed to be one of the elements of this revolution. The strategy is to be announced at the end of this year.
In 2024, Polsat Boxing Promotion incurred a net loss of approximately PLN 2.16 million and did not obtain any sales revenues. The results for 2025 have not yet been published. In 2025, the Polsat Plus Group incurred an operating loss of approximately PLN 1.4 billion (compared to a profit of almost PLN 1.8 billion a year earlier).

For Zygmunt Solorz – the founder of the Polsat empire – this is yet another function that he said goodbye to in the wake of changes in the group. At the end of last year, he was dismissed from the supervisory board of Interia.pl, which the Polsat Group took over in 2020. Earlier, he was dismissed from the position of chairman of the supervisory board of Polsat Media, as well as the supervisory board of PAK-PCE, a subsidiary of Cyfrowy Polsat, operating in the energy industry.
