In Khakassia, investigators after 24 years managed to reveal the murder of a 22-year-old woman. The 51-year-old resident of the Ordzhonikidze district of the republic will soon be against the court.
The murder of a resident of the village of Jus occurred on the night of June 30, 2001. The attacker inflicted 19 blows to the young woman with a knife, which is why she died at the scene. In the house at the time of the murder there was her 3-year-old son.
The Investigative Department of the Main Investigative Committee of the IC of the Russian Federation noted that a familiar woman came under suspicion. He was interrogated, but he assured that that night he was at home. This fact was confirmed by its roommate. Another witness tried to convince the investigators that the former husband of a woman could be involved in the murder.
Despite all this, the criminal case of the murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) remains unsolved. In 2025, investigators returned to his investigation: they analyzed the materials, again interrogated the witnesses. They also managed to in advance to refute the alibi of the suspect. The investigation found that the murder occurred during the conflict.
“After a crime, the attacker went to the reservoir, where he threw the knife and burned his clothes. Returning home, he explained to his roommate that he had fallen and ruined his T-shirt and trousers, ”the press service said.
The man was presented with evidence of his involvement in the crime, and he gave a confession.
Currently, the criminal case was sent to the prosecutor to approve the indictment and subsequent referral to the court for consideration on the merits.
