A strong fire broke out on Friday night at a warehouse of building materials in Adjud, affecting an area of about 450 square meters, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Vrancea announced, according to Agerpres.
The fire was announced “Around 03:00, by calling for unique emergency number 112”, Suesday, ISU Vrancea. On the spot were initially intervened two extinguishing vehicles and a SMURD ambulance within the Adjud Fire Section, supported by the Volunteer Service for Emergency Situations.
“Given the the large amount of combustible materials And the extension of the flames, the intervention forces were supplemented with an extinguishing vehicle, a special intervention and rescue special vehicle, a vehicle for unloading and a special work for the Adjud Fire Department, as well as a special fire extinguisher from Focșani”, Stated ISU Vrancea.
Currently, firefighters continue the intervention for the liquidation of the last outbreaks.
