A 14-year-old child, caught at night behind the wheel of a stolen car with false registration numbers
A 14-year-old child was caught behind the wheel of a car, on a street in Dolj county. Checks in the Police database indicated that the vehicle is written off, with false registration numbers mounted on it.

“On the morning of November 29, at around 03:20, policemen from the 12th Daneți Rural Police Department, while they were performing their duties in Amărăştii de Jos commune, noticed a car on Traian street which, at the sight of the police crew, increased its speed. The policemen issued a legal stop signal for the car, the driver being a registered driver minor, 14 years old, from the locality. Also, following the checks, the police established that the car is removed from circulation, and the registration number mounted belongs to another car.” informs, on Sunday, the Dolj County Police.
Judicial sources told News.ro that the car the teenager was driving belonged to his family and had been removed from circulation in the summer of this year. According to the same sources, the child's parents stated that they did not know that he left with the car on the public road at night.
The police have opened a criminal case for committing the crimes of driving a vehicle without a driver's license and putting into circulation or driving an unregistered vehicle.
