Antidron systems, Eurofighter aircraft and a destroyer will ensure security at Pope Francis's funerals

The Italian Ministry of Defense will contribute to the efforts to ensure the Security at Pope Francis funeral, providing antidron systems, Eurofighter aircraft and a destroyer, officials said on Thursday, ASAs, quoted by Agerpres.
In addition to the systems capable of blocking and counteract drones, the Italian armed forces will also provide a destroyer off the coast and fighters to ensure air security throughout the region.

The command will also provide accommodation places, between Centocelle and Cecchignola, outside Rome, to host the children who will participate in the teenagers scheduled on April 25-27.
Around 2,000 policemen in Rome will be on duty, joining other people from the national security forces of Italy. Security measures also include patrols on Tiber, drones, a military device meant to neutralize hostile and sniper flying objects.
Pope Francis's funerals will take place on Saturday morning, at 08:00 GMT, in Sfântul Peter Square, where at least 200,000 believers are expected, along with 170 foreign delegates.
Among them will be dozens of leaders of the world, including heads of state as US President Donald Trump and Royal Figures in Spain, Sweden and Belgium.
