The president of the National Leadership Council (CNC) of the AUR and the leader of the party's senators, Petrișor Peiu, accuses Realitatea Plus of no longer inviting him to its various shows because of the “clashes” he had with the PSD.
The first accusations made by Peiu against Realitatea Plus were made on Wednesday evening, live on the TV channel, in Anca Alexandrescu's show. Last fall, Anca Alexandrescu was even the AUR candidate for the Capital City Hall.
Petrișor Peiu resumed the accusation on Thursday evening, on his Facebook account. In the section of a post made, a person reproached Peiu for saying “nothing” about the “disastrous Ciolacu-Câciu legacy” and asked the AUR leader if he was a “PSD servant”.
“Dear sir, my position regarding the miserable mandate of the most embarrassing prime minister in history, Marcel Ciolacu, is public. Moreover, thanks to my clashes with the PSD, I became undesirable on Reality TV,” Petrișor Peiu wrote on Facebook.
Anca Alexandrescu: “I wish you success at Antena 3”
Petrișor Peiu said on Wednesday night live on Realitatea Plus, in a dialogue with Anca Alexandrescu, that he was no longer called to the TV station after, he claimed, he was critical of the PSD.
Below is a part of the Wednesday evening dialogue between Petrișor Peiu and Anca Alexandrescu:
Petrișor Peiu: I have never been invited by any television station, considered by the opposition, since I criticized the PSD on the budget law.
Anca Alexandrescu: Come on, Mr. Peiu, you can come to me anytime, you know you have an open door, it's not even possible…
Petrișor Peiu: I haven't been invited in the last four weeks.
Anca Alexandrescu: Well, it was Mr. Dungaciu, I can't invite…
Petrișor Peiu: But I gladly honor any invitation. I also went to Antena 3 tonight, I felt very good. I bravely responded to all attacks.
Anca Alexandrescu: Did you feel good at Antena 3?
Petrișor Peiu: I don't see what the problem is. I go headfirst everywhere.
Anca Alexandrescu: I understood. Good luck then.
Petrișor Peiu: I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to say other than what I say all the time.
Anca Alexandrescu: Then what can I say, I wish you success at Antena 3, Mr. Peiu, if that is your conclusion.
Petrișor Peiu: Well no! I go where I am invited. But know that I am not a PSD slave.
Anca Alexandrescu: But know that I am not the GOLD show either.
The investigative publication Snoop revealed last year that on May 12, 2025, Realitatea Plus broadcast several shows, including “Behind the scenes of the Parallel State” by Anca Alexandrescu, for which the television received 1 million euros from the AUR, as presidential election advertising. Of this million, 450,000 cost George Simion a show produced by Anca Alexandrescu.
For two more days, AUR gave another 500,000 euros. George Simion's party requested the refund of the amount from the budget, but AEP refused and sent a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office, claims the Snoop investigative website. The complaint alleges that AUR paid for advertising it did not receive and then solicited public money.
