Several normative acts were approved in the meeting of the Romanian Government of Romania, including some related to Sport. Thus, 29 employees within the National Sport Agency were expelled, everything “for the efficiency of the activity”.
On Thursday, April 24, a new meeting of the Executive was held at the Government headquarters in Victoriei Square. One of the discussion points was “the efficiency of the activity of the National Sport Agency”.
Thus, 29 positions out of a total of 146 were canceled. It is exclusively the “dignitaries and positions related to their cabinets”, according to the press information issued by the government led by Marcel Ciolacu.
How this reorganization was done at the National Sport Agency
According to the information provided by the Executive, the reorganization considered criteria such as:
- functional efficiency – Elimination of attribution overlaps and strengthening responsibilities
- Optimization of resources – by reducing the number of unoccupied and driving positions
- the coherence of the structure – by setting up services dedicated to purchases, heritage, investments and pay, as well as adapting to the new institutional management needs.
With this reorganization, the National Sport Agency will operate with a total number of 117 postsexcluding the dignitaries and positions related to their cabinets, according to the new organizational structure approved by the Government decision.
Constantin Matei, president of ANS: “One thing that does not thank me”
A week ago, Constantin-Bogdan Matei, the president of the National Sport Agency, was the guest of the show “Ovidiu's friends”.
“I want to be correct and to convey nothing but the case, because it does not characterize me. When I came back I found a ministry, from the point of view of the human resource, much weaker. And this, again, is one thing that doesn't thank me, because if you have fewer employees …”, Matei said in the GSP plateau.
Asked by the number of people expelled, Matei put “very much matter”. Then he detailed: “At the general level, when I left, I had 3,200 and some employees, today we have 2,562, something like that. We are talking about the total number of employees in Romania, on the 102 subordinates we have.”
