Emergency services in Russia have extinguished a fire that had erupted in a parking lot located in Moscow's business district, the TASS State Press Agency reported on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
A car caught fire in the parking lot of the Afimall City shopping center on the Presnenskaya bank in Moscow, the main direction of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations in the Capital has announced.
“The main direction of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations for the city of Moscow received a message about a fire on the Presnenskaya bank. A car burns in the underground parking of an administrative building,” the Ministry for Emergency Situations said, according to TASS.
The fire was preceded by a strong bump in that car. According to the first information, the car exploded.
Video recordings published in the online environment by more Russian press institutions showed black smoke rising among the high buildings of the neighborhood on the banks of the Moskva river.
