Dan Capatos is leaving Antena 1, in the “surprise of proportions” at the end of the year. “From now on “everything is Cancan””

The well-known TV presenter Dan Capatos announced that he is leaving Antena 1, after almost two decades spent in the Intact Media Group press trust, Pagina de Media writes on Wednesday.
Dan Capatos is going to make a new show together with Cancan.ro. The announcement was made even by the Cancan tabloid, from the Arcmedia group which is part of the press trust controlled by businessman Radu Budeanu.
“Last minute announcement in the mundane area of the Romanian online. Dan Capatos, the king of the Romanian late-night show, has decided to join the Arcmedia group, within Cancan.ro. Recently formed, the Arcmedia digital conglomerate strengthens its position as the indisputable market leader by co-opting a new “heavyweight” in the editorial team”, the tabloid wrote on Wednesday, in the opening of the website.
Capatos' first statement
Dan Capatos also gave the tabloid the first statement after breaking up with Antena 1.
“I am honored to join the most important publishing trust in Romania. Beyond the friendship that binds me, for almost 30 years, with those who built this trust, I now have the opportunity to work alongside them, to offer you a surprise of great proportions together, at the beginning of next year. For me, from now on “Everything is Cancan””. Happy holidays to everyone and see you healthy in 2026!” said the presenter.
Dan Capatos, who debuted in the print media at Evenimentul zilei in the early 90s, made numerous shows on Antena 1 and then on Antena Stars.
He is known, above all, for the shows “Un show păcătos” and “Xtra Night Show”.
