The IT giant releases employees in Poland. Up to 200 people

Atos employs approximately 7,000 people in Poland, of which over 4,000 in Bydgoszcz alone. The future of employees of the Bydgoszcz branch of Atosa remains uncertain.
The information provided by “Gazeta Pomorska” shows that Atosa employees began to receive signals about upcoming dismissals. Some of them were already to reject the proposal of voluntarily leaving work.
The company has not officially confirmed the plans to dismiss over 200 people. However, the data provided by the Provincial Labor Office shows that as part of group dismissals, 58 people will lose their jobs by April 2025.

The company gave “Gazeta Pomorska” that it is taking the necessary steps in response to market challenges.
“As part of global activities, the reorganization of structures in the Atos group was introduced, which is associated with difficult but necessary decisions regarding the adaptation of the employment status to the changing global IT services market” – said Robert Wichłacz, CEO atos Poland, Vice President, Managing Director ATOS GDC PL.
“Each of our decisions has been carefully thought out, and this process is carried out with full respect for the rights of our employees and in accordance with applicable law. Our priority is to maintain high quality services and care for our clients and employees. We believe that the actions taken will contribute to further development of the company and strengthen our position on the market” – he added.
