A new solution for photovoltaics in the net-billing system. Applies to over 600 thousand Poles

In their case, the conditions offered by energy sellers are important, as they affect the amount of the electricity bill and, therefore, the profitability of the installation.
In the net-billing system, the energy produced by the photovoltaic installation, which is not consumed on an ongoing basis, goes to the power grid. It has an assigned financial value (prosumer deposit), which can be used to settle the electricity bill.
Limitations of the standard model
In the standard model, funds from the prosumer deposit only reduce the cost of energy. The rest of the bill, including distribution fees, must be paid independently. This method of settlement means that even in the case of significant surpluses of energy produced, the bill is often not reduced to the expected extent.
Change in the way the prosumer deposit is used
The Pstryk company has introduced an offer in which the funds accumulated in the prosumer deposit are included in the settlement of the entire electricity invoice – including distribution fees. It is also important that in the market standard, the unused value of energy partially (70%) expires after 12 months. In the above-mentioned offer, the funds remain at the user's disposal for the entire duration of the contract.
Roaming not only on the phone
The solution provides for the possibility of using funds from the deposit at more than one energy consumption point (Prosumer Roaming). First, the location where the photovoltaic installation is located is settled. The surpluses can then be used in other properties, including facilities located in other parts of the country, also in the areas of operation of various distribution system operators.
