Putin: We lack some types of weapons. “Despite the increase in production”

The Russian armed forces lack some types of weapons, although in the last year the production of armament was significantly increased – the Russian leader Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at a meeting with representatives of the arms industry.

According to Putin, Russian soldiers received over 4,000 armored vehicles, 180 aircraft and helicopters and over 1.5 million drones of various types.

However, they are – as he said – deficiencies in other spheres. “I know very well, like many participants of today's meeting, that this weapon is still missing,” he said. (PAP)
