“On Monday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrij Sybiha, gave an online speech at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (Member States) of the EU (in Luxembourg – PAP). Among other things, the minister invited his colleagues, EU ministers (countries) of the EU, to visit Ukraine on May 9 as a sign of solidarity with (this country)” – said Tychy.

According to the spokesperson, this visit may be a signal that the international community and European partners still support Ukraine, especially when “in Moscow there is (then) holiday +victories +”.

“This is an invitation to the Ministers of Foreign Affairs (States) of the EU. (…) We know that the reactions are positive. We hope that this visit will take place, it is very important to us. We hope that this will be a great opportunity to show our unity against the background of Russian aggression and terror” – emphasized Tychy.

On May 9, he is celebrated in Russia as a day of victory, i.e. the anniversary of the anti -Hitler coalition by you, including Soviet Union, Nazi Germany in World War II. A traditional military parade takes place that day on Czerwony Square in Moscow.
