For riding on a gap in public transport and unpaid maintenance for children in the register of debtors, the so -called unethical debtors. There are almost half a million of them and they have nearly PLN 17 billion to donate – according to BIG InfoMonitor data.

The company's publication shows that maintenance debtors visible in the register of debtors Big InfoMonitor are mainly persons submitted by municipalities paying benefits from the maintenance fund, which belongs to the Treasury – 2264 municipalities transfer the data on maintenance debtors to BIG Infomonitor. “This happens on the basis of regulations that entered into force in mid -2015 and ordered local government units to report maintenance debtors to all operating BIGs in Poland” – reminded BIG.
“As a result, there are already 292 thousand maintenance debtors in the BIG InfoMonitor register, which includes the total amount of liabilities in the amount of PLN 16.6 billion. On average, one debtor is PLN 56,831 of unpaid maintenance” – according to the report.
The authors of the publication noted that this phenomenon is particularly widespread in Mazovia, where the amount of debt reaches up to PLN 2.2 billion and in Silesia – nearly PLN 1.8 billion and Lower Silesia – over PLN 1.4 billion.
“The number of regions, where the amount of maintenance arrears exceeds one billion zlotys, is growing and belongs to 10 voivodships. Against this background, the Opolskie and Podlasie voivodships are best, where the arrears have not yet exceeded half a million zlotys,” the authors said.
Silesia lives the most maintenance debtors – 35 378, and the highest average value of arrears falls in Mazovia – 64.5 thousand zloty. 94 percent Fathers are not paying for children.

According to the data provided, at the end of March this year the number of “debtors-Gapowiczs” approached 141 thousand. – Together they have to pay over PLN 217.4 million of arrears. On average, there is PLN 1,548 of unpaid penalties for the debtor. Currently, the most indebted Gapowiczs come from the province. Łódź – there are almost 40.5 thousand of them, and the total debt in this region is PLN 64 million. Mazovia is next in order, where there are 34.3 thousand. Gapowiczów and nearly 53 million unpaid penalties.
In turn, residents of the province have the lowest backlog Opole and Podkarpackie – around PLN 2.4 million. In turn, the least gapowiczs are in Opolskie and in Podkarpackie – in turn 1.5 thousand. and 1.6 thousand The Lubuskie Voivodeship from Kola has the highest average arrears per person – PLN 1,720. For driving without a ticket, the most indebted are at the age of 35-44 – nearly 43 thousand. Most gapowiczs are gentlemen – 75 percent
“According to BIG InfoMonitor statistics, after sending a request for payment with information about the possibility of entering the debtor in the register, the arrears pay off 67 percent of people, and if the debtor is notified to the BIG base, in the first four months the backlit pays the arrears of 26 percent of people” – the authors emphasized.
