The Victory train will go on a festive tour of the highway stations this week

Krasnoyarsk Railway will send for the first time on a festive tour The composition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is already on April 20.

The action of the Krasnoyarsk highway “Victory Train” – a tribute to everyone who defended our homeland from fascism, including railway workers – participants in the battles and workers of the rear. The anniversary composition is a mobile exposition consisting of a legendary steam locomotive “Lebedyanka», Platforms with military equipment, a tug car and a scene wagon for agitbrid artists.

The Victory train will make stops at five stations of the highway: April 21 – in Bogotol, April 22 – in Uzhura, April 24 in Abakan, April 25 in Sayansky, on May 5 – in Krasnoyarsk. Arrival for each – at 12:00.

At each station where the Victory train will make a stop, a historical reconstruction will take place, symbolizing the arrival of military echelons during the Great Patriotic War. To do this, on the train platforms, railway workers will place samples of weapons of the Red Army: artillery guns – howitzers, anti -aircraft and anti -tank guns that participated in turning ships. A full-fledged image of the military echelon will be complemented by a steam locomotive brigade, for which the form of driver of the 40s is specially sewn.

During the parking lot, volunteers will tell about the exhibits and the role of the Krasnoyarsk railway in the Great Patriotic War. The scene car will remind you of the famous front-line campaigns-there will be songs that were performed at visiting concerts in the current parts of the Red Army. The theatrical performances will be held on the platforms.

In Krasnoyarsk, an unusual musical team will join the campaign – a large combined choir of Krasnoyarsk railway workers.

Railways played a key role in the events of the Great Patriotic War. From 1941 to 1945 They provided more than 300 operations of the Red Army: they carried out 443 thousand echelons, loaded and transported almost 20 million wagons – with soldiers, wounded, civilian population, as well as with cargo – ammunition, tanks, artillery, cars and food. The purpose of the project is to preserve the historical memory of the feat of the Soviet people.
