NATO country sends soldiers to Ukraine. Russia talks about escalation

“Rzeczpospolita” informs about the case. General Peter Harling Boysen, commander of the Royal Danish land forces, in an interview with TV2 revealed Plans to send Danish soldiers to Ukraine. The military would go there without weapons, and in the composition of the delegations will be groups of soldiers from various regiments of the Danish land army.
Currently, Danish soldiers use the knowledge of Ukrainian colleagues at the Varde base in Denmark. The Russian Embassy in Copenhagen expressed his strong opposition to Danish plans. The statement of the Russian ambassador Vladimir Barbin stated that the sending of Danish military staff to Ukraine draws a dent deeper into the conflict and carries the risk of uncontrolled escalation. According to the Russian side, this decision conflicts with current efforts to achieve the political and diplomatic end of the war.
The embassy also warns that the trip of Danish soldiers to Ukraine can threaten their safety, because military facilities, including training centers, even far from the front line, are recognized by the Russian army as an authorized purpose.
