In the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, Krasnoyarsk residents were advised to replace white bread with whole grain flour products.
According to experts, bread is extremely useful, as it contains a large number of group B vitamins necessary for the cardiovascular and nervous systems. The product is rich in fiber, which removes “bad” cholesterol from the body. It also includes important micro- and macro elements: potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, iron, copper, iodine, fluorine and others.
However, all this benefit is found in the grain shell, so it is better to eat whole grain bread.
“The less the grains are processed, the slower they are digested, gradually saturating the body with energy and vitamins. But in ordinary white bread, which is made of polished grain of beneficial substances. Thus, it is not a matter of bread itself, but in its quality, ”said Rospotrebnadzor.
Choose whole -grain flour products: rye, oatmeal, barley, corn, wheat, buckwheat and half a row. Do not forget that the inscriptions on the packaging are “multi -seam” or “Contains whole grain” can turn out to be a marketing trick, and always carefully study the composition.
