Trees are being dug up for the sake of a new rotary gateway near the Planeta shopping center in Krasnoyarsk

At the intersection of Aviatorov and 9 May streets in the area of ​​the Planet shopping center, mature trees are being dug up. This was reported to the mayor's office.

The reason is the relocation of the left turn lock and the construction of additional acceleration and deceleration lanes. The old sluice will be closed and a lawn will be planted in its place.

In total, 32 pine and 12 spruce trees were transplanted. Their removed from the soil along with a lump of earth to preserve the root system and increase the chances of survival in a new place.

“These trees were planted in 2019. It was decided to use them to plant greenery on city streets. So, the fir trees will move to the Lesok park on 9 May Street, Pobediteley Square and Svobodny Avenue in the area of ​​the city Palace of Culture. We will plant the pine trees in the fall, now they will be taken to the site of the green construction department, where landscapers will take care of them,” said Natalya Rychkova, head of the technical supervision department for landscaping objects of the MKU “UDIB”.

Aviator Street is one of the largest road repair projects this year, its total length is 3.16 kilometers. Specialists They will replace the road surface from the Oktyabrsky Bridge to the overpass on the Northern Highway, replace the old concrete curbs with granite ones, and put the sidewalks in order. Now the workers are already replacing the side stones, working on the lawns and dismantling the old covering. After this, they will begin laying new asphalt.

In total, 25 road sections will be repaired in 2026 as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes.
