The lack of IT specialists encourages technological companies to move from competition for experienced workers to “growing” their own personnel.

In response to the calls of the market, T1 purposefully invests in the development of young talents – schoolchildren, students and beginner specialists.

“The results of 2024 clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of a systematic approach in working with youth. So, for example, our educational initiatives for novice specialists-Open Schools and the IT Laure T1-became an important “supplier” of personnel for the holding: out of more than 3,700 participants, more than 700 joined the team. The whole chain-from training to internships-allowed us to hire more than a thousand young employees in a year, ”said Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, Development Director of the T1 IT Holding Regions, in his speech at the HR-Brand 2024 competition ceremony in Minsk.

T1 was a strategic prize partner. In the nomination “Event” supported by the holding, the best HR projects for organizing corporate events were noted.

T1 is now applies and scaling in Belarus, where the first initiatives have already been launched and scaling its experience in systemic training T1. For example, out of 44 Belarusian students in “open schools”, almost half – 21 participants – received a recommendation for employment.

Simultaneously with the launch of educational projects, the holding reinforces the team in the country: it is planned that by the end of 2025 its number will increase to 500+ employees.

“Faced with a shortage of personnel in the market, we began to work with young talents for the future. We managed to create a whole system to raise specialists literally from the school bench. This is not just a way to close actual vacancies, but the ability to form a community of professionals ready with T1 to develop and implement bold ideas, ”the expert emphasized.
