According to the most recent poll conducted by Sociopol and presented by Romania TV, if next Sunday the first tour of the presidential elections, George Simion and Victor Ponta would get the most votes:

– George Simion – 34%;

– Victor Ponta – 23%;

– Nicușor Dan – 16%;

– Crin Antonescu – 15%;

– Elena Lasconi – 10%;

– other candidates – 2%.

The data does not change the results presented a week ago, the only percentage changed being the first place, of George Simion, from 35% to 34%.

The Sociopol survey Institute is headed by Mirel Palada, a former spokesman in the Ponta government.

“At the moment, we cannot say that it has changed much in the first week of the campaign, compared to the results of the previous survey, made last week. (…) We have a very well defined voting structure and the way Elena Lasconi is voted for 10% of Romanians is unlikely that Nicușor Dan will capacity the vote from Dânsa. It is clear in polls that those who vote with Elena Lasconi do not vote with Nicușor Dan. Otherwise, he would have voted with him so far ”said Mirel Palada, according to the quoted source.

Compared to last week, Nicușor Dan stays at 16%. At the same time, Crin Antonescu remains at 15%, and Elena Lasconi, abandoned by the party for the support of Nicușor Dan, at 10%.

Other recent data shows similar results. Also George Simion and Victor Ponta are ranked in the first places in a survey conducted by Verifield, at the command of the mayor of the Capital, Nicușor Dan.

In another survey, made by the course after the candidates, George Simion would be the most voted, and the fight for the second place would be between Crin Antonescu, preferred by 22%, and Nicușor Dan, quoted with 18%.
