The deputy of the Legislative Assembly Ilya Zaitsev repeatedly sent the mayor of Krasnoyarsk an offer to install “quiet” zones in the city. The parliamentarian decided to take this step when he found out that the scooter shot down a girl on the island of Tatyshev. The victim required an operation.
In his telegram channel, the deputy wished the girl a speedy recovery and noted that after this incident, the city authorities are obliged to establish uniform rules for operators who earn money on renting electric scooters. Since scooters who travel through the streets at high speeds today are a real danger to others.
“Places for scooters should be provided on the basis of the selection procedure, which the city should be carried out, where the“ quiet ”zones and the transfer of data on the location of all scooters, and operational actions to evacuate scooters from places where they should not be and where they interfere with the passage should be,” Ilya Zaitsev, ”said Ilya Zaitsev.
The parliamentarian is confident that if the prosecutor’s bodies are attracted to this issue, they will help to develop a fair mechanism of interaction.
The traffic police recall that the control of an electric scooter without proper skills and with violation of traffic rules can lead to traumatic situations. From April 12 to 15, in Krasnoyarsk there were as many as 23 accidents involving SIM, in which 8 people were injured.
One of the striking examples was the accident in the Kirovsky district of the city, there two girls 15 and 16 years have rented one scooter. On the street, silk schoolgirls lost control and crashed into moving cars at high speed. As a result of the accident, adolescents were injured.
