In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court sent the ex-head of the Esaulovsky village council for correctional labor for the illegal sale of land in the water protection zone. This was reported in the regional prosecutor's office.

Verification of the supervisory authority showed that in August 2015, the administration of the village council provided a resident of Berezovka for rent a plot of land. On it, the man built a small fisherman’s house for himself, and then turned to the head of the village council, wanting to get the land in the property for the construction of a recreation center on it.

The man, taking advantage of his official position, issued a decision to provide a resident of Berezovka with the territory without an auction and at a preferential price. Instead of 2 million rubles, the new owner paid only “symbolic” 1.7 thousand. The court found the former head of the administration guilty and appointed 4 years in prison, later the punishment was changed to forced labor. For two years, a man will not be able to occupy positions in state and local authorities.
