Tauron without dividend. The Management Board wants to allocate profit on spare capital

The management of Tauron will not recommend dividend payments for 2024, wants to allocate all profit on spare capital – the company said in a statement. The decision made is in line with dividend policy in the group's strategy for 2025 – 2035.

“The recommendation of the Management Board takes into account the investment program of the Tauron Capital Group adopted as part of the above -mentioned strategy, which assumed to bear significant investment expenses in subsequent years, in particular in distribution areas, renewable energy and heat sources,” it was written.

“The funds left in the company will be able to be allocated to the investment and at the same time will reduce the need for financing, positively affecting the level of debt of the debt/eBITDA debt” – added. (PAP Biznes)
