US President Donald Trump yes answered the question of whether NATO countries should shoot down Russian aircraft violating their airspace. He stated that the US would support allies, “depending on the circumstances.” He also announced that he would turn to Hungary to stop buying Russian oil.

When asked during a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelnski at the UN headquarters, or thinks that NATO countries should shoot down Russian aircraft violating their airspace, Trump replied: “Yes, I think so.”
When asked if the US would support allies in this, he said:
– depends on the circumstances, but yes, we are very strong in the NATO case
However, the US President refused to comment on the disruption of the work of the airport in Copenhagen on Monday until he met the details of the case. “They don't know what happened,” he added.
When asked about a possible meeting with Putin and whether he trusts him, Trump said he “It will let you know in a month“And asked to assess the previous progress in the case of the end of the war, the US president said that the greatest progress is that the Russian economy is in ruins, and the Ukrainian army is coping with stopping the Russian army.
In a similar way he answered the question about security guarantees for Ukraine, claiming that it is too early to talk about it.
The American president suggested that he could turn to the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to stop buying Russian oil. “Well, he is my friend, I didn't talk to him, but I have a feeling that if I asked him, he would do it.” And I think I will do it – said Trump.
During the meeting with Zelnski, Trump praised the achievements of the Ukrainian army, claiming that he was doing “incredibly”, stopping the pressure of the Russians and encouraged the President of Ukraine to share news from the front. Zelanski stated that the army managed to free 360 km of territory this month.
Zelanski emphasized, however, that he wants the end of the war, at the same time thanking Trump for selling weapons for Ukraine bought by NATO. He also praised Trump's initiative so that European countries would stop buying oil and gas from Russia.
– By the way, I had a meeting with the President of Slovakia (…) They need some alternatives, but this idea will support. I don't know if Hungarians are ready, but everything is possible in the future – said the Ukrainian president.
Zełenski also thanked the first lady of the US Melania Trump for their involvement for Ukrainian children, announcing that both wives of the presidents would meet in this matter.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense: During the E5 group teleconference, we talked about the NATO Mission of the Eastern Guard
Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported that on Tuesday during a teleconference with the ministers of defense of the E5 group, which includes Poland, Great Britain, France, Italy and Germany, the Eastern Guard (Eastern Sentry) was talked about the NATO mission.
“Evening teleconference with the Ministers of Defense of the E5 Group. We talked about NATO Eastern Sentry surgery (Eastern Guard – PAP), which must be an effective tool of our defense,” emphasized Kosiniak -Kamysz on Platform X.
“Thank you to all the countries that have declared and still declare support for this initiative,” he added.
On September 12, NATO was launched by the Eastern Sentry mission to strengthen the alliance throughout the eastern flank. This is a new, more integrated approach to defending this part of NATO territory. As part of the mission, among others Danish f-16 fighters, French Rafale and German Eurofightery.
NATO's decision is the result of what happened on the night of September 9-10, i.e. the invasion of Russian drones into the Polish airspace. The decision took place after the meeting of the North Atlantic Council, during which allies discussed the situation in the light of Poland's application for consultation pursuant to Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
