Drăgușin's name appears in the bets scandal in Italy. The footballer, convinced to pay 40,000 euros

Italian prosecutors continue to investigate Nicolo Fagioli, a football player in La Fiorentina, who convinced 31 former coenchipiers, including Radu Drăgușin, to offer money to a jewelry company or directly to him, with the promise that they will receive the money back with a significant interest.

Convinced by Fagioli, Drăgușin, holder now in Tottenham, paid 40,000 euros, writes Gazzetta Dello Sport.

In total, Nicolo Fagioli raised almost 600,000 euros, were in fact an organization of sports betting and gambling, activities that were used all the money borrowed.

On the long list of 31 footballers who made payments after discussions with Nicolo Fagioli are Matteo Cancellari, Raoul Bellanova or Francesco Luciani, the one who made the biggest payment, of 73,000 euros.

None of the footballers who made payments to the jewelry company or directly to Nicolo Fagioli are investigated by the authorities.
