The history of the regional branch of DOSAAF is inextricably linked with the name of Pavel Vasilyevich Egorov, who in 1938-1941 worked as a pilot-instructor of the Amur and Birobidzhan flyers. He himself graduated from the flight military school, he managed to prepare a group of military pilots consisting of 11 people and with them in November 1941 went to the front.
Pavel Egorov began his battle path as a pilot of the bomber regiment, and ended the war as the regiment commander on the western and second Belarusian fronts. For heroism and excellent implementation of combat missions by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 26, 1944, captain Pavel Vasilievich Egorov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.
In 2010, a commemorative board was opened on the building of this school to the hero of the Soviet Union P.V. Egorov.
