In Krasnoyarsk, two men robbed delivery couriers, accusing them of pawning drugs.
The police said that the first victim of the attackers was a 22-year-old guy. He delivered an order to a high-rise building in the Leninsky district and was already leaving the entrance when two men approached him. They accused the young man of allegedly pawning drugs and demanded to see his phone. Confused, the guy handed over the gadget. The criminals hit him, snatched the device and fled. The young man estimated the damage caused at ten thousand rubles.
A day later, a similar crime occurred in the Central district of the city, where a twenty-year-old courier was robbed in a similar manner.
“Criminal investigation officers established that the same persons, whose identities were able to be established, were involved in both incidents. Now both previously convicted suspects – men born in 1982 and 1995 – have been detained and confessed to their crime. According to the investigation, the accomplices sold the stolen property for only one and a half thousand rubles,” the press service reported.
A criminal case was opened under part two of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). The suspects were detained until a preventive measure was chosen in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
