The Super League wants peace with UEFA and proposes a new Champions League format– Mundo Deportivo
The main idea: 36 teams are divided into two divisions, and the name of the tournament itself is preserved.
▪️ Elite group: 18 best clubs according to the UEFA coefficient. The top 8 go directly to the 1/8 finals, and the places from 9 to 18 play head-to-head matches.
▪️ The second group: The remaining 18 teams that cannot enter the playoffs directly, but fight only for the right to play in head-to-head matches with teams from the elite group.
All matches are offered to be broadcast for free with advertising (with the possibility of a paid subscription without it). How do you like the idea? 👍/🤬
