10 places in Bucharest you can buy artisan cozonacs and other goodies for Easter meal

Easter without cozonac is like a brunch without prosecco – it simply does not have the same charm. And although the grandmother would say that “the real cozonac is done with the hand, it is not bought”, the reality is that not all of us have the patience, talent or time to fight with the dough and to convince and grow beautifully, as in stories.

So, if this year you chose the peace of the soul instead of the war with the kneading, it is absolutely okay. This, and because there are some places in Bucharest that make cozonacs that you come to say “kissing for the table” and at the cashier. With plenty of nut, with true cocoa and without a trace of palm oil or ingredients that you cannot pronounce.

As every year, I searched the capital and found the best coconuts to buy-so you would not reach, on the eve, with the empty meal and with the regret that you did not start on Thursday. Here's what I put on the list:

Casa del Pan (Polish 89)

Daniel Ion has a huge experience in the gastronomic field, with over 25 years of activity as a baker and participant in training courses in Spain, Switzerland, France and Italy. The bakery products made by him at Casa Del Pan are appreciated even by the most main and mournful clients. He recently announced the list of commands for Easter cozonac open.

“We are a handmade bakery and put our soul into every dough. It would be great for us to receive the orders in time-especially now, when we are still in the process of recovery after a medical intervention and we have not completely regained our forces. A cozonac costs 130 lei (1.1 kg), and a Easter costs 115 lei (1 kg).
