The largest adventure park in the south-east of Romania is reopening. New surprises for adrenaline lovers and strong sensations
The largest adventure park in the south-east of Romania is reopening. This is Escapeland, located just 15 kilometers from the city of Galati, in the heart of the Gârboavele forest, a spectacular leisure area.
The spectacular park can be visited from Friday, April 11th. In the first two years since its establishment, Escapeland attracted about 25,000 visitors.
The leisure complex in the Gârboaavele Forest is the only one of its type in Galați County and has 15 routes of different difficulties for both children and adrenaline lovers, as well as spectacular Tyrolean, one 150 meters and another 180 meters.
“Good news for leisure lovers in the middle of nature. Starting today, April 11, we reopen the Escapeland Adventure Park in the Gârboavele Forest, for the third season! In the first two seasons, the park has attracted almost 25,000 visitors, both adults and many children! Costel Fotea, president of CJ Galați, said.
Inside, new attractions are arranged for lovers of strong sensations. In addition to the 15 climbing routes and two already existing Tyrolean, the adventure park will be expanded and equipped this year with new objectives.
“We will build a suspended bob with a length of over 900 meters (there will be two tracks with a total length of 1.5 km), but there will be a suspended sled, on the magnetic pillow, with a very high degree of difficulty, with speeds of 40 – 50 km/hour, for the adrenaline desires. Within this investment, worth over 15 million lei, they are in the area of over 15 million lei. Children and new relaxation spaces for adults ”the president of CJ Galati also transmitted.
The Adventure Park in Galați is one of the largest and most important in the country.
“By adding these objectives, the Gârboaavele Forest will be one of the most beautiful and bidding leisure points in the South-East region. We will continue the investments that encourage an active and healthy lifestyle, in which relaxation, fun and adrenaline are fully found.”said Costel Fotea.

In order to reach the adventure park, tourists must leave the city of Galati on DN26 until the intersection with DN 24 D. The distance is traveling in about 10 minutes.
The inauguration of the park took place in May 2023.
