In the Mansky district, the dog saved a family of three during a fire. This was reported in the fire protection of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The happy story of salvation occurred in the village of Bolshaya Ungut. Early in the morning of April 9, sleeping and unusuals about the danger of residents of one of the houses, the barking of a home dog woke up. The owner, who woke up first, saw that the room was filled with smoke, and the front door was embraced by a flame. The man quickly woke his wife and mother, together with the pet they got out of the burning house through the window.
According to the head of the regional fire department No. 241, while rescuers fought with fire, the dog ran between eyewitnesses and allowed them to leave the place of fire: overtook the departing, barking and again fled to the house, as if attracting people's attention to the fire. The fire brought great damage, the owners of the house also suffered: they breathed smoke, received burns, and the hostess broke her hand.
“What does this story teach us? Not only that pets are important in our lives. The main lesson is that it is necessary to install autonomous smoke detectors in housing. This simple, but effective means of protection allows you to timely detect the beginning of a fire and take measures to save life and property, ”the institution explained.
We will remind, earlier the head of the agency for the civil defense, emergency and PB of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Sergei Tagirov, turned to the residents of the region with a request to be careful when handling fire. According to weather forecasts, on weekends, on April 12 and 13, a sharp warming is expected in the region – up to +23 degrees, while it will be mainly dry and windy. In such weather, the risk of fires increases due to careless handling of fire when burning dry grass and garbage.
