Mikhail Kotyukov noted that the region is one of the ten leaders in terms of GRP, industrial production and investment:

This is the ninth result in the country and the first in the Siberian Federal District. The region’s investmentports until 2030 include more than 290 projects, the largest of them are implemented in the Arctic zone. Among the key: the oil and gas project “Vostok Oil”, which will allow the edge to increase the volume of oil production by more than doubled and increase cargo transportation along the Northern Sea Route; projects for the development of new resources of the deposits of the Talnah ore node and an increase by 2027 of the total mining capacities of ore to 9 million tons per year; the launch in 2026 of the first stage of the project for the development of the Montenegrin deposit of platinum and Palladium; An increase in the extractive and processing capacities of the Grandoye deposit in the North-Yenisei district. “

The governor called one of the most important tasks an increase in the share of products with high added value. To do this, the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley was created in the regional center, agreements were concluded in five residents, two of them launch production this year.

According to Kotyukov, the driver of the development of new industries in the Krasnoyarsk Territory should be a project related to the development of rare -earth metals in the Kezhemsky district of the Chuktukon deposit. The reserves are 2.9 million tons of oxides of rare -earth metals or 10 % of all explored reserves in Russia.

At the end of his speech, the governor emphasized that “the existing competencies and resources, the stable operation of large companies and the increase in the level of technological development of enterprises allow the region to remain the supporting region of the country under difficult conditions.”
